ACC Rivalry: Maryland v. Virginia

This week’s NSCAA College Game of the Week on FOX Soccer features a men's Atlantic Coast Conference rivalry match between Maryland and Virginia. The teams will square off for the 75th time at Ludwig Field in College Park, Md at 7 pm ET. The rivalry dates back to its beginning in 1941, and has Maryland holding an edge in the series with a 37-29-8 record.
Maryland (8-0-1), ranked number one in the NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division I Men's Poll, is led by Head Coach Sasho Cirovski now in his 20th season guiding the Terrapin program. Maryland enters the game on a run of seven consecutive victories with the most recent being a 3-2 win at College of Charleston.
Maryland Forward, Patrick Mullins, leads the team with 16 points (5 goals, 6 assists). His outstanding play has helped the Terrapins outscore their opponents by a margin of 3.33 to .78 goals per game. Joining Mullins in the scoring zone with 4 goals each are Schillo Tshuma, Jake Pace, and John Stertzer.
Defensively, the Terps have conceded only seven goals and have been bolstered in the back by senior leaders London Woodberry and Taylor Kemp, and the goal keeping performances of Keith Cardona and Jordan Tatum. .
Virginia (5-4-1), coached by George Gelnovatch in his 17th season leading the Cavaliers, is looking to bounce back after last week’s 2-0 loss to Clemson.
Senior Forward Will Bates, 2011 second team NSCAA all South Atlantic region player, leads Virginia with 11 points (5 goals, 1 assist) this season. Adding to the offensive attack are Chris Somerville and Zach Carroll with 4 points (2 goals, 0 assists) each.
On the defensive side, Virginia, having allowed only eight goals, is anchored by ironman goalkeeper Spencer LaCivita, who with his current .80 goals against average, enters the game having played 2,363 consecutive minutes over 26 straight matches dating back to 2011.
The NSCAA College Game of the Week is in its eighth season on FOX Soccer. The broadcast features games between some of the top NCAA Division I men’s and women’s teams on Thursday and Friday nights.

I wish someone uploaded a legible copy of the Bob Gansler & Tony DiCiccio presentations at The Orlando event. I was there, it was awesome, and now I can't read my diagram/notes as to how the ball/players move!
