Friday of the 2013 Convention is a day of even more sessions, as well as many opportunities for coaches to meet with their respective groups.
High school and youth coaches will get a jump on the day and honor some of the great accomplishments from the previous year at the NSCAA High School and Youth Coaches Awards Breakfast at 8 a.m.
There are a lot of new aspects of the 2013 Convention, one of them being the US Youth Soccer Workshop hosted in conjunction with the NSCAA event. The day starts off with several classroom and field sessions that would be of interest to youth coaches and administrators.
In the 9-10:15 a.m. block, coaches can take advantage of:

- “The State of Youth Soccer in Urban Areas” by Ed Foster Simeon, president and CEO of the US Soccer Foundation
Other lecture sessions throughout the day that may be of interest to coaches at any level include:

Some of the field sessions include:

- Technical and Tactical Coordinator of the Mexican Youth National Teams Juan Carlos Ortega Orozco’s “Training Session/Mexican Youth National Teams” at 1 p.m.

Attendees can also participate in the day’s roundtable discussion, “Intentional Team Chemistry,” hosted by Brad McCarty, head men’s coach from Messiah College.
There are numerous other classroom and field sessions going on so make sure to add them to your customized schedule after you register. Midday, lunch will be provided in the Exhibit Hall, allowing attendees to not only meet with 280+ vendors but also network with each other.
Also when you register, be sure to purchase your ticket to the NSCAA Awards Banquet to witness some pioneers in the soccer world be honored.

I wish someone uploaded a legible copy of the Bob Gansler & Tony DiCiccio presentations at The Orlando event. I was there, it was awesome, and now I can't read my diagram/notes as to how the ball/players move!
