Lauren Malajian, a midfielder from Northern Valley Regional (Demarest, N.J.) and Britt Watts, a midfielder from Canterbury School (Fort Wayne, Ind.) have been named the NSCAA High School Player of the Week.
Malajian, a four-year varsity captain, had a great week last week with five goals and three assists to give the Norsewomen a 10-1-1 record. She had great performance in the last game with a goal and an assist sending the North Valley to the quarterfinals of the county tournament. Malajian, a senior, and the Norsewomen are coached by Jason Rueda.
Watts had two clutch performances in the Garrett Indiana regional tournament. In the opener, he had an assist on the first goal of the match and followed that with a goal of his own in route to the team’s 3-0 victory.
In the regional final, the junior had an assist and two goals, which lifted his team to another 3-0 victory. Watts and the Cavaliers are coached by NSCAA Board of Directors High School Rep, Greg Mauch.
This week's other male finalist was Armin Grossrieder of Bergen Catholic High School (Oradell, N.J.).

I wish someone uploaded a legible copy of the Bob Gansler & Tony DiCiccio presentations at The Orlando event. I was there, it was awesome, and now I can't read my diagram/notes as to how the ball/players move!
