For soccer coaches who wanted to experience the education sessions and interaction at Convention but couldn’t, the NSCAA has added another annual event to meet that need.
Registration and housing are now open for the inaugural Summer Symposium, taking place Aug. 1-3, 2013, at the Orlando World Center. The yearly event is modeled after the NSCAA Convention and will provide coaches with field and lecture sessions, networking opportunities, and camaraderie, which are all staples of the Association.
The Summer Symposium sessions will focus on coaches with players between 6 and 18 years old. Highlights of the weekend include the inaugural NSCAA Foundation Golf Tournament, the Athletes' Performance Soccer Performance Training Mentorship and more. Scheduled to present are Ian Barker, NSCAA Director of Coaching Education; Becky Burleigh, head women's coach at the University of Florida; Bob Gansler, retired U.S. National Team head coach; and Mark Koski, NFHS Director of Sports and Events.

Coaches also have the opportunity to earn their NSCAA Level 2 diploma and the NFHS/NSCAA Professional Development Certificate.
Winter and spring season players will be recognized at the Summer Symposium, including All-America Teams, Coaches of the Year, Scholar All-America Teams and ranked programs.
Online registration is open and available at the Summer Symposium homepage. The sooner attendees register, the better the chance for access to the best registration and hotel rates.
A tentative schedule can be found here and additional details will be made available in coming weeks.

I wish someone uploaded a legible copy of the Bob Gansler & Tony DiCiccio presentations at The Orlando event. I was there, it was awesome, and now I can't read my diagram/notes as to how the ball/players move!
