The NSCAA’s latest opportunity to develop the game through coaching education comes through a partnership in its own backyard.
Kansas Youth Soccer is the latest Official Education Partner and coaches in the Sunflower State will see an expanded course menu and additional educational tools.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for the NSCAA to work locally at an unprecedented level,” Ian Barker, NSCAA Director of Coaching Education, said. “We look forward to working with Kansas Youth Soccer in developing elite-level coaches throughout our state. We want to keep building on the foundation both organizations have established in Kansas.”
Kansas Youth Soccer will offer members NSCAA courses ranging from Level 1 through 6, Special Topics, Goalkeeping Level 1 through 3 and High School diplomas.
Currently, registration is open for the Advanced National Diploma in Overland Park, Kan. This 45-hour course will emphasize working with advanced players and creating a successful team environment.
Kansas Youth Soccer coaches can also benefit from other NSCAA educational resources such as the Online Resource Library. This database is full of training sessions, videos and articles (similar to the one Kansas Youth Soccer has provided below) coaches can use with their teams.
“Kansas Youth Soccer is delighted to partner with the NSCAA in providing new educational opportunities to help coaches to master their craft and enhance the playing experiences for youth players,” said Executive Director Bob Riggs. “These are exciting times for the sport and growth of soccer. Our association places a high value on life-long learning.”

I wish someone uploaded a legible copy of the Bob Gansler & Tony DiCiccio presentations at The Orlando event. I was there, it was awesome, and now I can't read my diagram/notes as to how the ball/players move!
