The New Mexico Youth Soccer Association (NMYSA) and the NSCAA have teamed up to provide comprehensive coaching education that would impact more than 23,000 players, coaches and administrators.
“This is a fantastic opportunity to reach a growing market,” Ian Barker, NSCAA Director of Coaching Education. “We look forward to working with Joshua (Groves) and the staff at NMYSA to keep building on the fantastic foundation they’ve established.”
Among the many successful programs, the NMYSA is proud of its Olympic Development Program. The NMYSA had nine players selected to the All-Tournament team in January during the Region IV Championship.
Additionally, former NMYSA product Devon Sandoval signed a contract with MLS club Real Salt Lake.
The NMYSA and NSCAA will work together to groom highly-trained coaches by equipping them with the tools they need to develop the game in the land of enchantment. NMYSA will offer its members NSCAA courses ranging from Level 1 through 6, Special Topics, Goalkeeping Level 1 through 3 and High School diplomas.
NMYSA coaches can also benefit from other NSCAA educational resources such as the Online Resource Library. This database is full of training sessions and articles (similar to the one NMYSA has provided below) coaches can use with their teams.

“Educating our youth coaches in the most advanced ways and with the most current methods has been the utmost priority within the New Mexico Youth Soccer Association,” Joshua Groves, NMYSA Technical Director, said. “We are excited to partner with the NSCAA to enhance our current course offerings and to give our youth coaches yet another source of quality teachings that will only benefit the youth soccer players in New Mexico."

I wish someone uploaded a legible copy of the Bob Gansler & Tony DiCiccio presentations at The Orlando event. I was there, it was awesome, and now I can't read my diagram/notes as to how the ball/players move!
