The NSCAA Online Resource Library, one of the most comprehensive databases of soccer related training sessions and articles, now features a video section. This new component categorizes videos from past convention sessions, NSCAA College Game of the Week interviews, Live Chats, Coaching Academy features, Systems of Play training videos, and technical sessions.

Not only does this new feature allow you to view all kinds of new video content, but it also allows you to upload your own videos to share with fellow members. Here are just a few of the videos available now, featuring DOCE Ian Barker, in the Online Resource Library and new ones are uploaded regularly.

Combining the Elements Dribble, Stop, Turn, Pass

In this video, Barker conducts a drill that allows players to build on what they have learned by combing several elements into one exercise.

Combing the Elements Dribbling and Turning: Shadow Tag

This activity, in which the players play shadow tag, encourages them to use both feet, change directions, and change speeds.

Combining Technique Passing, Receiving, Moving

In the video below, the participants do a drill in which players pass the ball through a gate and then look for another ball to combine the elements of passing, dribbling, receiving and moving.

Passing and Receiving

This video uses competition and repetition to improve the skill level of the players.

Faking Feinting

This drill teaches players to keep their heads up while dribbling by having them dribble around teammates instead of cones.
