Coaches at all levels and across all sports look for ways to motivate their players and get them to the next level of play. That next level may be in how they play on the field, moving up to high school or collegiate action or just improving as a person.
Available in the Online Resource Library is a three-part series of articles named "Team Notebooks: Writing to the Next Level," by Dr. Rich Kent. The articles provide coaches with the "how to's" and "why's" of emplementing the team notebook concept to develop individual players and teams.
There are five versions of the notebooks introduced in the article series that coaches can adapt to fit their teams' needs. They include:
Preseason thoughts that guide players in thinking about the previous season and the upcoming season
Match Analysis I that guides playes in reflecting on a match
Match Analysis II that guides players in writing about a match that their team watches together
Postseason thoughts that guides players in thinking about hte past season while making plans for the future
Player's notes, which is a place for taking notes and sketching plays

I wish someone uploaded a legible copy of the Bob Gansler & Tony DiCiccio presentations at The Orlando event. I was there, it was awesome, and now I can't read my diagram/notes as to how the ball/players move!
