NSCAA Announces Regional and National Assistant Coaches of the Year

The National Soccer Coaches Association of America has announced the 24 individuals named Regional Assistant Coaches of the Year, as well as the four assistants named NSCAA/Field Turf Assistant Coaches of the Year for senior college, junior college, and high school.

Connecticut's John Deely was named the Gleen "Mooch" Myernick National Men's Assistant Coach of the Year. Kerry Dziczkaniec from Virginia was named the Gleen "Mooch" Myernick National Women's Assistant Coach of the Year.

Taking the National Junior College Assistant Coach of the Year honor was Athena Gramates from Howard Community College (Md.), while Brian Messer from McIntosh High School (Ga.) was named National High School Assistant Coach of the Year.

The NSCAA/Field Turf Assistant Coaches of the Year and other 2013 NSCAA award winners will be honored at the 2014 Awards Banquet on Friday, Jan. 17, in conjunction with the NSCAA Convention in Philadelphia.
