The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) is proud to announce a new multi-faceted partnership with Provelop, the Official Neuroscience Conditioning Partner of the NSCAA. The Provelop Profile is an online assessment tool that measures the core psychological traits of an athlete. In addition to the profile, Provelop soon will incorporate an e-Learning component to its services. The partnership with Provelop will provide NSCAA member coaches access to numerous Provelop neuroscience conditioning and performance tools.

“Provelop is the leader in the field of performance psychology analysis for athletes, and the NSCAA is proud to partner with an organization that will enhance the membership and education offerings provided to our members,” said NSCAA CEO and Executive Director Joe Cummings. “The NSCAA’s mission is to improve soccer through helping coaches. Working with Provelop to get this tool in the hands of coaches is a step forward in fulfilling this mission.”

The goal of Provelop is to help players and coaches develop their mindset and mental toughness. As the leader in the development of mental skills training, Provelop currently is used by athletes at all levels, ranging from development academies to colleges and universities to top-level professional clubs in the English Premier League. Manchester City, Everton, Newcastle United, Sunderland and Fulham have all used the Provelop profiling system. 

In order to bring this system to life, Provelop will present at the 2012 NSCAA Convention in Kansas City.  Their session, “Above the Shoulders: Psychosocial Profiling of Soccer Players and How this Aids Player Recruitment and Development,” will be presented at 3:45 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 14, in Room 2105 of the Kansas City Convention Center.
