Opened in 1951 by Queen Elizabeth II, the Lilleshall National Soccer Centre is located four miles from the town of Newport, Shropshire, England.

Until the summer of 1999, Lilleshall NSC was the base for The Football Association's School of Excellence.

The Lilleshall instructional staff were (from left) Quentin McDowell, NSCAA Education Program Coordinator, Jeff Tipping, NSCAA Director of Coaching Education, along with NSCAA National Staff Coaches Ron McEachen, Anson Dorrance, Mike Noonan and Paul Payne. The NSCAA coaches took a moment to pose with FA instructors, Steve Rutter and Chris Whalley, who were both involved in teaching the course.
