Kruger led her Greyhounds to an undefeated 25-0-0 mark as Carmel held the No. 1 position in the NSCAA/adidas High School National Rankings throughout the season. Four seniors joined her as repeat selections: senior defender Lauren Zealear of Nevada Union High School in Nevada City, Calif.; midfielders Courtney Arikian of West Islip (N.Y.) High School and Allison Graham of Starr's Mill High School in Fayetteville, Ga.; and forward Meghan Rourke of Honeoye Falls-Lima Central High School in Honeoye Falls, N.Y.

The athletes who were selected from schools that play during the fall season will comprise the first part of the selection pool for the Second Annual Powerade McDonald's All American High School Soccer Games, which will be held next June at a location to be determined.

Kruger was one of 13 underclassmen (11 juniors, two sophomores) among the 77 players selected. They were honored at the All-America Luncheon held on Saturday, Jan. 18, as part of the 2003 NSCAA Convention in Kansas City, Mo.
