Mens Division I All-America Team
Front Row: Joseph Ngwenya, Arturo Torres, Kevin Friedland, John Swann.

Back Row: Todd Dunivant, Matt Haefner, Chad Dombrowski, Pat Noonan.

Indiana's Pat Noonan and Virginia's Alecko Eskandarian highlight the players selected to the 2002 NSCAA/adidas Men's NCAA Division I All-America Team, announced at a news conference in Dallas, Texas, on Thursday, Dec. 12.

Noonan, who was narrowly edged by Eskandarian in voting for the Missouri Athletic Club's Hermann Trophy, is the only three-time All-America on this year's squad. He is joined by two other Hoosiers, making Indiana the most-represented school on this year's team: senior defender John Swann and sophomore midfielder Ned Grabavoy, who was the NSCAA's High School Player of the Year two years ago.

Six players representing each of the four teams will take the field for the Men's College Cup on Friday: Creighton has senior forward Mike Tranchilla, Maryland has a pair of junior midfielders in Sumed Ibrahim and Scott Buete, Stanford has senior defender Todd Dunivant and senior forward Roger Levesque and UCLA has senior forward Tim Pierce.

The NSCAA/adidas All-America teams are determined through voting by NSCAA member coaches from across the nation. The complete list of honorees follows.
