Official Rules – No Purchase Necessary
- Register Now to Enter. Registered entrants will be given the opportunity to guess the outcome of World Cup games between September 10, 2007 and September 30, 2007. Complete and submit the registration form found at www.nscaa.com anytime up to 6:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time on September 10, 2007. Limit one entry per person.
- Submit Your Guess. Registered entrants must submit their World Cup selections electronically using the official entry form found at www.NSCAA.com. All submissions are final and cannot be revised after receipt by the NSCAA.
- Eligibility. The NSCAA Cup Challenge Prediction contest is open to permanent, legal United States residents of the 48 contiguous states or the District of Columbia and age 18 or older as of September 10, 2007. VOID IN ALASKA AND HAWAII AND WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. Persons in the following categories are not eligible to participate or win the contests and any of the prizes: a) persons who are employees or agents of the NSCAA, FIFA, ASU International, Fox Cable Network Services, LLC, Fox Entertainment Group, The News Corporations, Inc., participating teams in the 2007 World Cup and independent contractors of any of the above organizations, who are engaged in the development, production, or distribution of materials for this game; b) persons who are excluded in the Official Rules of the Game; c) individuals engaged in the development, production, or distribution of materials for this game; and d) persons who are members of the immediate family (spouse, siblings, parents, grandparents, or children of any of the foregoing) or who live in the same household as any person in any of the preceding categories. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited by law. Odds of winning depend upon the number of entries received.
- Prizes. The following prizes may or will be awarded through the contest:
Any person who correctly predicts the following: a) the outcome (win, lose or tie) of each of the First Round Matches of the 2007 World Cup, b) the 8 teams who will qualify for second-round play in the 2007 FIFA World Cup and C) the winner of each of the 7 games (excluding the consolation game) that occur after the first round (including the quarterfinals, semi-finals and finals).. If more than one person correctly predicts all of the above, the $25,000 prize will be evenly split among the successful entrants.
GRAND PRIZE: A trip for one person to the 2008 NSCAA Convention in Baltimore, Maryland, including airfare, four nights lodging (January 16-19, 2008) and free registration for the convention. AND A trip for two people to the 2007 MLS Cup in Washington, DC, including airfare, two nights hotel – double occupancy (November 10-12, 2007), two tickets for the MLS Gala on November 10 and two tickets for the MLS Cup on November 11. Also receives an NSCAA/adidas training suit, US Youth Soccer/adidas polo shirt, Fox Soccer Channel gift bag, $75 gift certificate from Eurosport and a $50 gift certificate from Soccer Learning Systems.
FIRST PRIZE: A trip for one person to the 2008 US Youth Soccer Workshop and Coaches Convention in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, including airfare, up to three nights hotel (Feb. 7-9, 2008) and free Workshop registration. Also receives an NSCAA/adidas training suit, US Youth Soccer/adidas polo shirt, Fox Soccer Channel gift bag, $75 gift certificate from Eurosport and a $50 gift certificate from Soccer Learning Systems.
SECOND PRIZE: A trip for two people to the 2008 Cal South Soccer Nation Expo (January 5-6, 2008) in Los Angeles, California, including airfare and two night’s hotel at the Los Angeles Wilshire Grand Hotel. Also, a $50 gift certificate from Soccer Learning Systems, $75 gift certificate from Eurosport and a free Cal South “Where Champions are Born” DVD prize pack including a must have Soccer Fan survival pack courtesy of Fox Soccer Channel.
THIRD PRIZE: A trip for one person to either the Men’s or Women’s College Cup in December, 2007 (choice of winner), including airfare, two nights lodging, tickets to the semi-finals and championship games, free registration for the NSCAA Special Topics Course and access to NSCAA hospitality areas at the games. Also receives an NSCAA/adidas training suit, US Youth Soccer/adidas polo shirt, Fox Soccer Channel gift bag, $75 gift certificate from Eurosport and a $50 gift certificate from Soccer Learning Systems.
FOURTH PRIZE: A $100 gift certificate from Soccer Learning Systems, US Youth Soccer/adidas polo shirt, a Coerver Training Goal from Kwik Goal, an NSCAA/adidas training suit, Fox Soccer Channel gift bag, $50 gift certificate from Eurosport and first choice of an adidas World Cup Replica Jersey.

5. Other. Winners will be selected on or about October 1, 2007 following the conclusion of the 2007 World Cup. Winners will be notified by e-mail or mail and may be required to complete an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release which must be returned within 21 days on the date of the notification letter. No substitution for prizes except as may be necessary due to unavailability, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be awarded. Prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash. Taxes are the winner’s responsibility. Prize acceptance constitutes permission (except where prohibited) to use winner’s name and likeness for publicity purposes without additional compensation. Sponsor and its agents are not responsible for any liability associated with the acceptance or use of a prize. Entries become the sole property of Sponsor. Sponsor and its agents are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, illegible, internet, telephone or transmission failures of any kind which may limit a person’s ability to enter the contest. In the event of a dispute over who has submitted and given entry, “authorized e-mail account holder” means the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail account by an Internet access provider, Internet service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the e-mail address. Sponsor and its agents are not responsible for any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any materials in the contest. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or suspend advertising the contest on the internet should a computer virus, unauthorized intervention or other cause corrupt the integrity or the proper conduct of the promotion. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant found to have entered the contest in violation of one or more contest rules. The Releasees shall not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, expense, accident, delay, inconvenience, or other irregularity that may be caused or contributed to (a) by wrongful, negligent, or unauthorized act or omission on the part of any prize supplier or any of their agents, servants, employees, or independent contractors, (b) by the wrongful, negligent, or unauthorized act or omission on the part of any other person or entity not an employee of the Releasees, or (C) any cause, condition or event whatsoever beyond the control of the Releasees. Releasees shall not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, expense, accident, delay, inconvenience, or irregularity arising out of or relating to any prize granted under this contest, even if caused by the negligence of NSCAA.
