High School Coach of the Year Nomination Information
NSCAA/adidas High School Coach of the Year Nomination Information
Criteria
To qualify for consideration, a coach must be a registered as an NSCAA High School coach or college coach and currently coaching a high school soccer team. In addition, the coach must have a successful record for that season and:
• Have a long-term record of success at the high school level
• Be dedicated to the total development of their soccer players
• Create an environment conducive to learning
• Be named NSCAA State Coach of the Year for the current year

• Be a teacher of the game
• Have completed an outstanding season during the current year
• Have a team that has shown developmental progress based on the coach's contribution to the program
• Both the coach and the team must demonstrate a high degree of character and sportsmanship
• Make contributions to the soccer program

The NSCAA presents awards in three different divisions for both boys and girls: Division I (schools with 500 or more students), Division II (schools with less than 500 students) and Private/Parochial. A coach can be nominated in only one category.
