The NSCAA Elections and Nominations committee is proud to announce the four candidates for the Secretary position to serve on the NSCAA Board of Directors.

The Secretary will serve on the Board of Directors and shall provide strategic planning, set policies, have oversight of the business and affairs of the Association. Other duties of the Secretary, in conjunction with the President and Chief Executive Officer, prepare and distribute the agenda and report book for all meetings of the Board of Directors and the Association’s Annual Meeting. After serving appropriately in the position of Secretary for one year, the Secretary will be moved into a Vice President role for three consecutive years, followed by a one year term each as President and Immediate Past President.
The election will be administered electronically by a third party vendor, with oversight by the NSCAA Nominations and Elections Committee, to ensure fairness and transparency. Only NSCAA members in good standing are eligible to participate in the BOD election. All eligible members will receive a personalized electronic ballot from the third party on January 2, 2017. The election will be open from January 2 until January 13, 2017 Noon PST. An opportunity to meet the candidates and on-site voting will be available at the Convention from January 11 -13, 2017.
